Katerina Medvedeva , also Yekaterina Medvedeva or Katja Medvedeva , born as Yekaterina Medvedeva , Russian Екатерина Медведева (born June 22, 1968 in Moscow ) is a Russian actress who has lived in Germany since 1994.

Life

She was trained at the Shchukin Institute for Theater at the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow in the acting class of Yuri Lyubimow .

In 1994 she moved from Moscow to Munich, where she has been making feature films and television films since 2000. In 2002 she moved to Berlin, where she married the producer Mathias Schwerbrock. She became known to German-speaking audiences through the television film Jenseits , directed by Max Färberböck in 2000 .
