No Lust is a song by the German New German Hardship band Rammstein . It was written by Rammstein and produced by Jacob Hellner together with the band. The song is the fourth single from their studio album Reise, Reise and was released on February 28, 2005.

Music video

The music video for Keine Lust was shot on January 18, 2005 in Berlin under the direction of Joern Heitmann . It premiered on February 3, 2005.

In the video, after years of pause and gluttony , the band members meet again for the first time to play a song in an old warehouse. Five of them are extremely overweight and quickly reach their physical limits with their intense physical activity during the game, while the skinny keyboardist Flake Lorenz drives an electric car. Several "assistants" wearing mini skirts look after the sweating and out of shape musicians. After the song has ended, each of the five overweight people gets back into their white limousine, with which they came and disappears. What remains is a helpless flake that seems to have lost its listlessness in the course of the performance and even gets up from his e-scooter at the end.

Five of the six band members were turned into overweight people for the shoot in sessions lasting several hours with the help of fat suits and hot-foam partial face masks as well as arm replicas made of the same material. According to the director, twelve make-up artists were employed during the shoot. The music video was awarded the prize in the category Best Video at the VIVA Comet 2005 .

Chart successes

On March 14th, 2005, no desire entered the German charts at number 16 and stayed in the top 100 for nine weeks. The single also hit the charts in Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and was 25th; 30 or 35.
