Live from Berlin is the third album by the Berlin metal band Rammstein . After the two studio albums Herzeleid and Sehnsucht , it is the first live album and combines live recordings of songs from both albums and, with Wilder Wein , a title that was previously only available as an encore on a single . It was released as a CD on August 30, 1999, and VHS and DVD recordings of the concert were also released a little later.
Recordings
After several hundred concerts all over the world, Rammstein decided to record a live CD, a live VHS and a live DVD after only two studio albums. It was decided in favor of Berlin as the recording location, since Rammstein were founded there. The album was recorded on two evenings (22nd and 23rd August 1998 ) in the Berlin Parkbühne Wuhlheide in front of over 17,000 spectators.
Album cover
Rammstein was criticized for the cover, as columns could be seen in the background that were reminiscent of buildings from National Socialism, as critics have announced. Furthermore, the six Rammstein musicians in black suits could be seen in the foreground, some of them listening very attentively to a small radio.

The songs Tier , Du hast and Rammstein can be viewed in multicam mode. That means you can see the song from different settings, which either show a special view or are directed at individual band members. These are Director's Cut , Guitars (Shows Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe), Drums (Shows Christoph Schneider), Bass & Keys (Shows Oliver Riedel and Flake Lorenz), Wides (from the viewer's point of view) and Vocals (Shows Till Lindemann).
