Kenneth Choi

Kenneth "Ken" Choi (born October 20, 1971 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor of Korean descent.

Life

Kenneth Choi, born in Chicago in 1971, has been interested in training as an actor from an early age. However, in order to meet the wishes of his parents, he first began studying at Purdue University with a major in auditing. But he quickly dropped out of studies to devote himself to acting.

From 1998 he first appeared in smaller supporting roles. Guest roles soon followed in series such as The West Wing - In the Center of Power , Roswell , Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile and Dr. House . In 2004 he was seen in Steven Spielberg's terminal .

He became known to a larger audience from 2008 in the role of Henry Lin in the television series Sons of Anarchy and as Sato in the sitcom Samurai Girl . In 2011 he took on the role of the Japanese American Jim Morita in the Marvel comic adaptation Captain America - The First Avenger , who fights against the Hydra organization together with Captain America ( Chris Evans ) .

In 2013 he appeared on the side of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street .

In the first season of the American Crime Story television series, about the criminal trial of OJ Simpson , Choi starred as judge Lance Ito .

Choi lives in Los Angeles .
