Kerr Smith

Kerr Van Cleve Smith (born March 9, 1972 in Exton , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor . He became known for the role of Jack McPhee in the television series Dawson's Creek .

Life

Smith graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester in 1990 and then went on to study at the University of Vermont .

Smith began his acting career with a variety of roles. From 1996 to 1997 he played in the series Young and Passionate - Like Life So plays the role of Teddy Hughes . He also starred in the 2000 film Final Destination and made a brief appearance in the romantic comedy Broken Hearts Club , written and produced by Greg Berlanti , who also wrote several scripts for Dawson's Creek . From 1998 to 2003 Smith played the role of the gay Jack McPhee in this series . In 2004 and 2005 he was seen in some episodes of the television series Charmed .

Smith was also the last person to be pranked on MTV's Punk'd show . In 2007 he played the role of Andrew "Drew" Bredford in individual episodes of the popular television series CSI: NY .

Kerr Smith was married to actress Harmoni Everett from 2003 to 2009.
