The kkStB series of tenders 34 was a series of tenders operated by the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB), whose tenders originally came from the Vorarlberger Bahn (VB) and the Galician Carl Ludwig-Bahn (CLB).
The CLB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1861 . They were supplied by Ringhoffer in Prague- Michov and by the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik . When they received the CLB series key B .
The VB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1872 . They were supplied by Krauss in Munich and by the StEG locomotive factory .
After the nationalization of the two private railways, the tenders were given the series designation 34 at the kkStB . All tenders were used quite freely. For the former Vorarlberg tenders see table. The former CLB tenders could be coupled with kkStB rows according to the following allocation:
