Klaus Stuttmann

Klaus Stuttmann (* 1949 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German cartoonist . He signed with the abbreviation "KS".

Life

Stuttmann grew up in the Stuttgart area, studied art history first in Tübingen and from 1970 in Berlin, where he obtained his master's degree in history and art history at the Technical University of Berlin in 1976 . Since then he has been self-taught as a freelance cartoonist.

His caricatures were initially and until 1989 mostly published in the daily newspaper of the Socialist Unity Party of West Berlin, The Truth .

His caricatures currently appear almost daily in the Tagesspiegel , regularly in the Weser-Kurier , in the Leipziger Volkszeitung , TAZ , the Badische Zeitung , in Freitag , Eulenspiegel , in the Sächsische Zeitung , in the Göttinger Tageblatt , in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung and the Rhein-Neckar Newspaper .

Stuttmann lives in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
