Taffa-Thaya-Wild region

The small region Thaya-Taffa-Wild (small region TTW) is the voluntary cooperation of nine municipalities in the northern district of Horn in Lower Austria in the areas of services of general interest, citizen service and spatial development. Small regions in Lower Austria are funded by the Lower Austrian provincial government as an instrument of rural development and spatial planning.

The following communities belong to the small region Thaya-Taffa-Wild:

The small region, which was founded in 2001 under the name "Waldviertler Wohlviertel" and renamed the small region Thaya-Taffa-Wild in 2007, is supported by an association whose board is made up of the mayors as well as city and community councils from the member communities.

Projects

The focus of the small region is under the motto "Feel good!" the strengthening of soft tourism , the improvement of local recreation opportunities and the creation of a regional identity. In addition, the small region promotes the networking of agriculture, gastronomy and trade and initiates cooperation projects in the areas of kindergarten, school, landscape maintenance and administration between the member communities.
