Komornik (Polish: Komorniki ) is a village in Upper Silesia . Komornik is located in the municipality of Klein Strehlitz ( Strzeleczki ) in the powiat Krapkowicki (Krappitz district) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

history
The place was founded in the 13th century and first mentioned in documents in 1245.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 412 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 30 for Poland. Komornik remained with the German Empire . On June 15, 1936 the place was renamed Kammersfeld . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neustadt OS
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Komorniki and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to Powiat Krapkowicki . On May 17, 2006, German was introduced as the second official language in the municipality of Klein Strehlitz, which belongs to Komornik. On November 24, 2008, the place was also given the official German place name Komornik .
