FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup 1976/77

The 1976/77 season was the 6th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .

As in the previous year, the title was won by Jugoplastika Split from Yugoslavia .

mode

27 teams from 13 nations took part. First ten teams played in the first round to get into the next round. The winners of these duels met 15 seeded teams in the 2nd round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage. The group stage consisted of four groups with three teams each. The first in each group reached the semi-finals, followed by the final. The winners of the pairings in round 1, round 2 and in the semi-finals were determined in the first and second leg. The final was played in one game at a neutral location.
