Zollbrück was laid out before 1871 as a Vorwerk to Barvin (today in Polish: Barwino). After 1871 the Zollbrück station was built on the Schneidemühl – Neustettin – Stolp line . Until 1928, Zollbrück with the Vorwerk Zollbrück and Zollbrück-Bahnhof was a district of the municipality of Barvin, when the independent rural municipality of Zollbrück was formed in the course of the abolition of the manor districts and the reorganization of the municipalities. The places Barviner Mühle , Frankenfelde , Löschinghof and Ulrichstal were also included in this community . In 1933 880 inhabitants lived in Zollbrück. Their number rose to 910 in 1939.

Until 1945 Zollbrück was a municipality in the district of Rummelsburg i. Pom. in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania of the German Empire .

Towards the end of the Second World War , the Red Army occupied the region in the spring of 1945 . Soon afterwards, Zollbrück was placed under Polish administration by the Soviet Union , together with Western Pomerania . Afterwards the immigration of Polish civilians began in Zollbrück. Zollbrück was renamed Korzybie . In the following period, the villagers were evicted .

The village is now a district of Gmina Kępice in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ) of the Pomeranian Voivodeship (until 1998 Stolp Voivodeship ). In 2006 it had 919 inhabitants.

church

Before 1945, almost without exception, Protestant residents lived in Zollbrück. The place was incorporated into the parish Bartin (today Polish: Barcino) in the church district Schlawe of the church province of Pomerania of the church of the Old Prussian Union .

Korzybie's bond with Barcino has persisted after 1945, since the place has predominantly Roman Catholic residents. In Korzybie a separate church MB Częstochowskiej ("Mother of God of Czestochowa") was built, which is a branch church to the parish of Barcino. This belongs to the deanery Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the diocese of Köslin-Kolberg of the Catholic Church in Poland .

school

The Zollbrück children went to school in Barvin until 1895. In 1892 the number of pupils had risen to 43, so that a school building of its own was necessary. The school was built in 1896. In 1937 three teachers taught 167 children here. In 1928/1929 a new school building was built.
