The Fleck hydropower plant is a run-of-river power plant in Fleck, a district of Lenggries , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . The power plant uses the water of the Isar via a two-kilometer-long canal that shortens two river loops. The Flecker Wehr (Senkbaum) was built in 1862 to operate a sawmill. The saw was destroyed by fire in 1904. In 1909 what was then a modern paper mill was built to produce cardboard from wood pulp . For this purpose, two Voith Francis turbines were put into operation, which supplied the loop with energy. After switching to waste paper (around 1965), water power was used to generate electricity. In 2004 the power house was renewed and a Kaplan bulb turbine was installed.
