The Keis Gyál ( Hungarian Gyáli járás ) is a district in the center of the central Hungarian Pest County , south of Budapest . It is bordered to the west by the county Szigetszentmiklós , in the southwest and south by the county Dabas , on the east by the district Monor and in the northeast to the county Vecsés . In the northwest, the provincial capital Budapest forms the border.

history

During the Hungarian administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, the district emerged almost unchanged from its predecessor, the small area of the same name (Hungarian Gyáli kistérség ). Only the Bugyi community moved to Dabas County .

The district has the ninth highest population density and is thus above the county average. The district seat is located in the largest city, Gyál , in the north of the district.
