The district of Dunakeszi ( Hungarian Dunakeszi járás ) is a district in the center of the central Hungarian Pest county . It borders on the Szentendre District in the west, the Vác District in the north and the Gödöllő District in the east . In the south the district borders on the provincial capital Budapest .

history

The circle was created for the Hungarian administrative reform in early 2013 from its predecessor, the small area of the same name (Hungarian: Dunakeszi kistérség ). Here the community Mogyoród moved to the district of Gödöllő . For this, the municipality of Csomád came from the small area of ​​Veresegyház , which was dissolved at the end of 2012 .
