Nagykáta ( Hungarian Nagykátai járás ) is a district in the east of the central Hungarian Pest county . It borders in the south on the district of Cegléd , in the west on the districts Monor and Vecsés and in the north on the district of Gödöllő . In the east and south-east, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county forms the county border with Jászberény and Szolnok counties .

history

The district emerged unchanged during the Hungarian administrative reform in early 2013 as the successor to the small area of the same name (Hungarian Nagykátai kistérség ).
