Nagykőrös ( Hungarian Nagykőrösi járás ) is a district in the southeast of the central Hungarian Pest County . The southernmost district in Pest County is separated from the rest (the main part) of the county by the Cegléd County in the north. In the south the district borders on the Bács-Kiskun county with the districts of Kecskemét and Tiszakécske .

history

The district was separated from the southern part of the small area Cegléd (Hungarian Ceglédi kistérség ) for the Hungarian administrative reform in early 2013 .
