Crime adventure fantasy
Krimi - Abenteuer - Phantastik (abbreviation: kap ) was a popular series of booklets aimed at young people from the genres of crime , adventure and fantasy from the GDR . There were new publications and translations published mainly by contemporary authors, in large part from the Soviet Union or other friendly countries of Eastern Europe.
Brief edition history
Most of the booklets were illustrated and appeared as the successor to the Kleine Jugendreihe from 1966 to 1971 by Verlag Kultur & Progress , Berlin (after the merger at Verlag Volk und Welt ), every six months up to and including 1969, from 1970 only about monthly, each in Format 15 × 11 cm from issue 73 then in format 16.5 × 11.5 cm. The single issue cost a constant 35 pfennigs. The envelope was provided with a colored illustration. The volume of the booklet was 64 pages.
