The LHJMQ season 2018/19 was the 50th season of the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The regular season began on September 20, 2018 and ended on March 16, 2019 with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies winning the Trophée Jean Rougeau as the best point team . This was followed by the playoffs for the Coupe du Président , which also secured the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies with a 4-2 win over the Halifax Mooseheads in the final.
Changes
With the Central Division , a fourth division was introduced, with the Maritimes Division still consisting of six teams, while the three remaining divisions each provide four teams. At the same time, the playoff mode was changed, which is now based on the newly introduced conferences .
