The 2008/09 LHJMQ season was the 40th season of the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The regular season began on September 11, 2008 and ended on March 15, 2009. The play-offs started on March 20, 2009 and ended with the Drummondville Voltigeurs winning the Coupe-du-Président on May 12, 2009 for the first time prevailed in the LHJMQ final against the Cataractes de Shawinigan .
