The 2002/03 LHJMQ season was the 34th season of the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The regular season with 72 games for each of the 16 teams began on September 12, 2002 and ended on March 18, 2003. The playoffs started on March 20, 2003 and ended with the Hull Olympiques' fifth Coupe-du-Président win on March 13 , 2003 May 2003, who prevailed in the LHJMQ final against the Halifax Mooseheads .

Playoffs

The 14 teams with the highest points in the league qualified for the playoffs, with only two teams not being represented at the finals. The two conference winners Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Val-d'Or Foreurs received a bye for the round of 16 and only entered the playoffs for the quarter-final series.
