Timofei Michailowitsch Schischkanow ( Russian Тимофей Михайлович Шишканов ; born June 10, 1983 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Sakhalin in the Asia League Ice Hockey since November 2015 .
Career
In 1999 Schischkanow began his career at HK Spartak Moscow and played there until 2001, before the striker went to city rivals HK CSKA Moscow for one season . He was selected in the second round in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft in 33rd place by the Nashville Predators . He made his debut with the Predators in the 2003/04 season , but played most of the time with the Milwaukee Admirals , with whom he won the 2004 Calder Cup .
In 2005 he was transferred to the St. Louis Blues . He spent most of his time in North America in the American Hockey League with the Milwaukee Admirals and Peoria Rivermen , before returning to the Russian Super League with Vityas Chekhov for the 2006/07 season . After further stations in Russia, Schischkanow was signed by HK Awangard Omsk in 2009 . For Awangard Schischkanow played two years in the Continental Hockey League , where he scored 14 goals in 84 KHL games. After the 2010/11 season, his contract ran out and Shishkanov was signed by HK Sibir Novosibirsk . In November 2011 he moved within the KHL to Atlant Mytishchi and completed over 30 KHL games for the club before he was released from his contract in August 2012. He then played for the THK Tver in the Vysschaya Hockey League before he was signed by Amur Khabarovsk in November of the same year . In April 2013, his contract with Amur was extended until the end of the 2013/14 season. Then Schischkanow was committed by the newly founded HK Sochi .

Timofei Schischkanow took part in the 2003 Junior World Cup with the Russian U20 national team.
