The Laßbach is a left tributary of the Urft on the district of Schleiden in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The Laßbach rises north of the Schleiden district of Herhahn . From there it runs in a northerly direction and crosses the Lassbachtal nature reserve north of Herhahn .
It finally flows into the Urft between the other Schleidener districts of Morsbach and Gemünd, just above the Urft dam at 325 m from the left.
Catchment area
The good two-square-kilometer catchment area of Laßbachs lies in the northern Eifel region and is Urft, Roer , Maas and Hollands Diep in the North Sea dehydrated.
It borders
- in the east to that of the Urft tributary Horrenbach
- in the southeast to that of the brewing Bach , also an inflow of Urft and to that of the small Schloßsief that in the Höddelbach opens
- in the south to that of the olefin tributary Höddelbach itself
- and in the west finally to that of the Urft tributary Morsbach .
Most of its valley is wooded, otherwise agricultural areas dominate. In the southeast of its catchment area lies the eastern area of the village of Morsbach and in the south most of Herhahn.
About the sound, silt and sandstones and quartzites of Emsium - and Siegenium stage of the Lower Devonian - Series of Devon is clayey-silty have brown soils with low usable field capacity deposited and in the Bach dump Nassgley .
