Burgau District Court

The Burgau district court was a Bavarian district court (older order) that existed from 1808 to 1879 and was based in the Swabian town of Burgau .

history

In 1804 the Bavarian district court Wettenhausen and Ursberg and in 1806 the district court Günzburg was established. After the margraviate of Burgau came to Bavaria in 1806 , the seat of the Wettenhausen district court was relocated to Burgau in 1808 . The Burgau district court belonged to the Upper Danube district , the Günzburg district court to the Illerkreis . From 1817 the regional courts belonged to the Oberdonaukreis (from 1838 Schwaben and Neuburg , later only Swabia). The district office of Günzburg was formed in 1862 through the merger of the regional courts of the older order Burgau and Günzburg and took over the administrative tasks of the regional courts. The regional courts as judicial authorities remained in place until the local courts were introduced by the Courts Constitution Act of 1879.

The District Court Burgau included the municipalities Burgau, Burtenbach , Deubach , Dürrlauingen , Ebersbach , Egenhofen , oak Hofen , Ettenbeuren , Freihalden , Glöttweng , Goldbach , Großanhausen , harbor Hofen , Haldenwang , Hammer Stetten , Jettingen , Kemnat , small Beuren , Konzenberg , Landensberg , Limbach , Mindelaltheim , Mönstetten , Oberknöringen , Oberwaldbach , Ried , Röfingen , Roßhaupten , Scheppach , Schnuttenbach , Schönenberg , Unterknöringen , Unterrohr , Waldkirch and Wettenhausen .
