Leberecht Friedrich von Brösigke (* 1720 in Anhalt ; † March 22, 1790 in Prenzlau ) was a Prussian colonel and commander of the infantry regiment "von Wunsch" (No. 12) .

Leberecht Friedrich was a member of the Altmark noble family of Broesigke . His parents were Maximilian Friedrich von Broesigke and Charlotte Josephe.

Career

Brösigke joined the " Prinz Heinrich " infantry regiment (No. 12) of the Prussian army . He was promoted in 1741 to Ensign , 1745 to Sekonde- and 1755 to first lieutenant . In 1759 he was promoted to staff - as well as to the real captain . After all Silesian wars had taken part in Maxen wounded and a prisoner of war after Krems was spent, but in 1761 changed, he went on 3 June 1773 Major and became head of a Grenadier - battalion consisting of two companies of the Regiments. 12 and no. 34 was composed. With this he took part in the War of the Bavarian Succession . On July 11, 1782 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel and with his promotion to colonel on October 2, 1784, he was also the commander of his regiment. On the occasion of the revue in Berlin on May 20 and 21, 1787, he received the order Pour le Mérite from King Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia . It was the 23rd known bestowal of the order by the king.

In 1788 Brösigke had a dispute with District Administrator Carl Otto von Arnim auf Kröchlendorff (1747–1798), as a result of which the latter published in the same year the text: About the Canton Constitution in the Prussian States, and the Adoption of the enrolled Elsbusch refused by Colonel von Brösecke and published in Frankfurt and Leipzig.

Brösigke was hereditary lord on Cratz in the Uckermark and Breitenfelde in Saxony . He sold the former in 1789 to the Knighthood Council and Major and Commander of the Uckermark Landwehr Cavalry Regiment (No. 8) Karl Georg Gottlieb von Wedel (1762–1813), the latter also did not stay with the family after his death.

Brösigke was married to Amalia Tugendreich von Arnim († after 1767) for the first time. The daughter Friederike von Broesigke (1752–1792), married to Jacob Ernst von Rohr (1746–1798), emerged from this marriage . A second marriage is said to have existed with Josephe Friederike von Schweinichen († 1778). There were other children whose names remained unknown.
