Route

The Lechtaler Höhenweg is a section of the Northern Alpine Trail (Austrian long-distance hiking trail 01). The alpine variant of the European long-distance hiking trail E4 is identical to the Lechtaler Höhenweg in the area of ​​the Lechtal Alps. The Lechtaler Höhenweg has a total length of around 105 km, depending on the variant. It can be climbed in 10 to 15 days, descents into the valley are possible from any hut, total walking time about 45 hours. Sections can also be walked on at will. The mountain paths and climbs to be used are well marked.

The Lechtaler Höhenweg follows the course of the main ridge of the Lechtal Alps. Stations on the way are:
