Leimea-Sarinbalo ( Leimea Sarinbala , Leimea Sorimbalu , Leimea Sorin Balu , Lemia Sorimbalu , Lemia-Sorimbalu , Leimea Sorin Balun ) is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Hatulia ( municipality of Ermera ).

Before the territorial reform of 2015, Leimea-Sarinbalo had an area of ​​8.61 km². Now there are 8.66 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the Hatulia administrative office. To the southwest is the Suco Leimea-Craic ( German  "Unter-Leten" ) and to the north of the Suco Coilate-Letelo . In the south, Leimea-Sarinbalo borders on the Atsabe administrative office with its Suco Leimea Leten and in the east on the Letefoho administrative office with its Sucos Catraileten and Hatugau . The Meipu River forms the border with Coilate-Leten . The southern border is followed by the Ladibau , which flows into the Meipu in the west. The rivers are part of the Lóis system .

In the eastern part of the Sucos are the villages Leo-Dato ( Leodato ), Etimano ( Hieotmano ) and Brug-Bou ( Brogobo ). The primary school Escola Primaria Leimea-Sorinbalo is located in Etimano .

In the Suco are the two Aldeias Brug-Bou and Leo-Dato .

Residents

The Suco has 608 inhabitants (2015), of which 296 are men and 312 women. The population density is 70.2 inhabitants / km². There are 124 households in the Suco. Almost 52% of the population name Tetum Prasa as their mother tongue. 34% speak Kemak and almost 13% speak Mambai .

history

In 1975, after the civil war between UDT and FRETILIN, 120 people from Leimea-Sarinbalo fled to Haekesak in West Timor for one year .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Evaristo Soares Martins elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
