Li Fen (born August 25, 1976 in Shandong , China ) is a Swedish table tennis player . In 2013 she became European Champion in singles.

Career

Li Fen was born in Shandong, China. She played in the Chinese Super League from 1995 to 2004 . After a one-year guest appearance at the Swedish club Trelleborgs BTK in 2004/05 and in China in 2006/07, she joined TTSV Saarlouis-Fraulautern in the German Bundesliga in 2007 . When the club withdrew its women's team in 2013, she joined the Austrian club SVS Ströck . She has lived in Sweden since 2012, and took on Swedish citizenship in the summer of 2012. In 2013, Li Fen took part in the European Championship . After winning over Joanna Parker (England), Liu Jia (Austria), Li Xue (France), Shen Yanfei (Spain) and Fu Yu (Portugal), she reached the singles final, which she won against Shan Xiaona (Germany). Currently (2018) she plays for the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon .
