Career
After playing an FIVB tournament the previous year, Mouha formed a permanent duo with Liesbet Van Breedam in 2006 . At the 2006 European Championship , the Belgians had to admit defeat to the eventual winners Schirjajewa / Urjadowa from Russia in three sets . Then they defeated the German duo Eckl / Kaup , before they were eliminated by their compatriots Pohl / Rau . The 2007 World Cup was over for them after the preliminary round. At the following European Championship in Valencia they lost the first two games against the Greek Arvaniti / Karadassiou and the Dutch van Iersel / Wesselink .
In 2008 Mouha / Van Breedam improved their record and achieved a few ninth places in open tournaments and grand slams. At the EM in Hamburg they were only defeated by the Germans Goller / Ludwig and the Norwegians Håkedal / Tørlen , who then faced each other in the final. In August they reached the second round of the Olympic Games in Beijing , third in the group , which they lost to the gold medalists Walsh / May-Treanor from the USA. At the 2009 World Cup in Stavanger , they also reached the last sixteen, which the Brazilians Talita / Antonelli won. In the same year they narrowly missed the bronze medal at the European Championships in Sochi , as they lost the game for third place with 14:16 in the tiebreak against the Swiss Kuhn / Zumkehr .
In addition, Mouha / Van Breedam won the Belgian national championship four times in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. Their careers together ended in 2010 when Van Breedam went on hiatus due to pregnancy . The previous year had already been problematic due to several injuries to both players (Mouha's abdominal muscles and Van Breedam's shoulder ). At the end of the year some tournaments with Goedele Van Cauteren . She has been competing with Katrien Gielen since 2011 . At the World Championships in Rome , the new duo failed because of the Germans Holtwick / Semmler . In August they played at the European Championships in Kristiansand , where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against the Czechs Klapalová / Háječková .
As an indoor volleyball player, Mouha was active in her hometown of Tongeren, in Spain and at Asterix Kieldrecht .
