Lisa-Maria Berger (* 1993 in Grosshöchstetten ) is a Swiss triathlete and a member of the Swiss Triathlon national team .

Career

Lisa Berger was already enthusiastic about sports as a child. She gained her first experience in handball , tennis and inline skating . At the age of 15 she joined the Triathlon Checkpoint Burgdorf , which is now part of the Tri Club Solothurn . From then on she trained there under the direction of Pierre Manz. The first successes at national level were not long in coming. In 2013 she joined the support association for integrative competitive sport , where she was supported by Martin Salmingkeit.

Since autumn 2017 she has been training under the direction of Pierre Pompili in Bern and Font-Romeu .

She achieved her first international podium in 2018 with the bronze medal at the European Cup in Melilla . In the same season she celebrated her greatest success so far by winning the silver medal in the team triathlon at the European Championships in Glasgow .

Lisa Berger studies nursing at the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Bern .
