Lisa Marie Makas (born May 11, 1992 in Mödling ) is an Austrian soccer player who has been under contract with MSV Duisburg since 2016 .

Life

Lisa Makas was born on May 11, 1992 in Mödling. Around 2010 she completed an apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist in Heiligenkreuz .

Career

Lisa Makas played in her youth from August 1997 at SC Weissenbach and from September 2005 at SC Berndorf . In the summer of 2006, at the age of 14, she moved to the South / Southeast regional league for SKV Altenmarkt where she was the top scorer that season.

With 57 goals Makas was the top scorer in 2007 and rose with her club to the 1st Lower Austrian regional league . In the following season she won 38 goals again for the title of top scorer and was promoted to the 2nd women's league east . In 2009 Makas became champions for the third time in a row with her club, but she suffered a ruptured meniscus and cruciate ligament . As a result, she missed the relegation game for the first division that ASV Spratzern lost.

In summer 2009 she was accepted as one of ten girls in ÖFB's Project 12 , the successor to Challenge 08 . Project 12 was an individual support program for Austria's greatest football talents in the U-16 to U-21 range. In 2010 and 2011 she was runner-up in the 2nd women's league east with ASV Spratzern.

For the 2011/12 season she moved to ASV Spratzern (since 2013/14 season FSK St. Pölten), who had been promoted to the ÖFB women's league at the end of the previous season . In 2012 and 2013 she was runner-up and won the ÖFB Ladies Cup in 2013 and 2014 . At the end of the season 2014/15 she left St. Pölten and joined to the season 2015/16 the SC Freiburg on.

At the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she moved to MSV Duisburg.

National team

Lisa Makas played in the U-19 and U-21 national team. In the senior national team, she made her debut on June 9, 2010 in a 6-0 home win against Malta in qualifying for the 2011 World Cup . She scored 3 goals, something an Austrian player has never managed in the first game.

Four years later, she and the team finished Group 8 of the 2nd qualifying round for the 2017 European Championship as runner-up behind Norway and qualified for a significant tournament for the first time after winning the Cyprus Cup as the first participant a year earlier . The team reached the semi-finals at the Women's Euro 2017 .
