List of Wiesbaden train stations

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Start of rail traffic on the Taunus Railway

The first train station in Wiesbaden , the capital of Hesse , was opened in 1840. Today there are 10 operating stations and stops . As a remote station of the district serves Southeast preferred central station . Seven are served by S-Bahn and regional rail services, the remaining two are used by the Nassau Tourist Railway .

There are ideas to set up another stop for the S-Bahn as part of the Wiesbaden Stadtbahn project in Kostheim . A related cost-benefit analysis was positive, but there is massive opposition to these plans in Kostheim. Considerations regarding a further stop in Kastel for the development of the Petersweg industrial area are currently not being pursued, so that they must be regarded as completed. The list is structured as follows:

Stations highlighted in gray are currently not being served, so they are former or planned stations.
