List of Wiesbaden train stations
The first train station in Wiesbaden , the capital of Hesse , was opened in 1840. Today there are 10 operating stations and stops . As a remote station of the district serves Southeast preferred central station . Seven are served by S-Bahn and regional rail services, the remaining two are used by the Nassau Tourist Railway .
There are ideas to set up another stop for the S-Bahn as part of the Wiesbaden Stadtbahn project in Kostheim . A related cost-benefit analysis was positive, but there is massive opposition to these plans in Kostheim. Considerations regarding a further stop in Kastel for the development of the Petersweg industrial area are currently not being pursued, so that they must be regarded as completed.
