List of architectural monuments in Büren

The list of architectural monuments in Büren contains the listed buildings in the area of ​​the city of Büren in the Paderborn district in North Rhine-Westphalia . These monuments are entered in the list of monuments of the city of Büren; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).

Architectural monuments are "monuments that consist of structures or parts of structures". The list of monuments in the city of Büren includes 144 monuments, including 49 wayside shrines, 22 residential buildings, 19 sacred buildings, eleven aristocratic residences or fortifications, nine small monuments, eight agricultural buildings, six transport facilities and residential and commercial buildings, five mills, four public buildings, two administrative buildings each and commercial buildings as well as a cemetery. In addition, two monuments have been removed from the list of monuments, one is under temporary protection. Of the total of 144 monuments, 49 are in the town of Büren, 22 in Wewelsburg , 15 in Siddinghausen , ten in Harth , nine in Ahden , seven each in Brenken , Weiberg and Weine , six in Steinhausen , five in Hegensdorf , four in Barkhausen and three in Eickhoff .

The list includes a photograph of the monument, if available, the name as a description, otherwise the building type, the address, a short description, if known, the construction time, the date of protection and the registration number of the lower monument authority of the city of Büren. The name corresponds to the designation by the monument authority of the city of Büren. Abbreviations have been resolved for better understanding, the typography has been adapted to that used in Wikipedia and typos have been corrected.
