List of entries for the best foreign language film for the 1962 Academy Awards
The following thirteen films, all from different countries, were nominations in the Best Foreign Language Film category for the 1962 Academy Awards . The highlighted titles were the five ultimately nominated films, which come from Denmark, Japan, Mexico, Sweden and Spain. The Oscar went to Swedish film Wie in a Spiegel by Ingmar Bergman.
For the first time, contributions from Egypt, Argentina, Austria and Switzerland were submitted for this category.
