The German artist Wolf Vostell (1932–1998) created pictures from 1952 to 1998. The pictures are in museums and private collections worldwide.

The Korean War , World War II , Holocaust , world politics , building of the Wall , the division of Germany , Vietnam War , racism , Cold War , Second Gulf War as well as social and historical events were subjects of his pictures. Wolf Vostell has been integrating televisions into his pictures since 1958 . A tendency towards Spanish topics can be seen in his work.
