The list of Bremen cathedral preachers shows a large number of cathedral preachers of St. Petri Cathedral in the city of Bremen over the past centuries. In the late medieval tradition of the Bremen Cathedral, the “cathedral preachers” were initially not the pastors , but held an independent office. "Cathedral preacher" later became the common name for pastors at the cathedral. There were often several cathedral preachers, the leading cathedral preacher had the title "Primarius" (compare: senior pastor ).
