This list of number one hits is based on the charts of the Italian music magazine Musica e dischi in 1975. There were ten number one singles and ten albums each that year.

Week 9 weeks 9 Domenico Modugno Piange il telefono Claude François , Jean-Pierre Bourtayre, Frank Thomas, Domenico Modugno With a cover version of the French song Le télephone pleure from the previous year, which was sung by Claude François and the young Frédérique Barkoff , Modugno once again secured the top position in the single charts. The young Francesca Guadagno can also be heard on the recording . 25-27 Week 3 weeks 3 Times Parliaments d'amore Mariù Cesare Andrea Bixio , Ennio Neri The song was first interpreted by Vittorio De Sica in 1932 and resulted in a large number of cover versions. 28–32 Week 5 weeks 5 Il Guardiano del Faro Amore grande, amore libero Arfemo The Milanese musician with the real name Federico Monti Arduini (author's pseudonym: Arfemo ) won the 1975 competition Un disco per l'estate with this song . 33rd week 1 week 1 Claudia Mori Buonasera dottore Paolo Limiti, Shel Shapiro - 34-47 Week 14 weeks 14th Claudio Baglioni Sabato pomeriggio Claudio Baglioni, Antonio Coggio - 48th week 1975 - 1st week 1976 6 weeks 6th Goblin Profondo rosso Massimo Morante, Claudio Simonetti, Fabio Pignatelli, Walter Martino The theme song of the Dario Argento film Rosso - the color of death brought the Italian progressive rock band their first and only number one hit.
