This list of number one hits is based on the charts of the Italian music magazine Musica e dischi in 1977. There were twelve number one singles and seven number one albums that year.

Week 2 weeks 2 collage Tu mi rubi l'anima Gabriella Padovan, Antonello de Sanctis After a second place at the Sanremo Festival in 1977 , the pop group achieved a number one hit. 16th week 1 week (total 5) 5 Keith Emerson Honky Tonk Train Blues Meade Lux Lewis - 17.-24. Week 8 weeks 8th Lucio Battisti Amarsi un po ' Lucio Battisti, Mogol After the original album, the single made it to the top of the chart. 25-26 Week 2 weeks 2 Maynard Ferguson Gonna Fly Now Bill Conti , Carol Connors , Ayn Robbins The song formed the theme song for the movie Rocky . Ferguson played the solo trumpet in Bill Conti's original version and later released a disco version of it himself. 27th week 1 week 1 Donna Summer I Feel Love Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder , Pete Bellotte - 28.-40.
