Stumbling blocks for the Federer family in Mladá Boleslav

The list of stumbling blocks in Mladá Boleslav contains the stumbling blocks that were laid in the town of Mladá Boleslav (German Jungbunzlau ) in Středočeský kraj . Stumbling blocks remind of the fate of the people who were murdered, deported, expelled or driven to suicide by the National Socialists . The stumbling blocks are usually laid by Gunter Demnig .

The Czech stumbling block project Stolpersteine.cz was launched in 2008 by the Česká unie židovské mládeže (Czech Union of Jewish Youth) and was under the patronage of the Prague Mayor. The stumbling blocks lie in front of the last self-chosen place of residence of the victim. The stumbling blocks are to Czech stumbling blocks called alternatively kameny zmizelých (stones of the disappeared).

Some of the tables can be sorted; the basic sorting is done alphabetically according to the family name.

Emil Federer was born on September 13, 1889 in Mladá Boleslav. He graduated from business school, became an accountant and joined the Sokol movement. During World War I he served in the 36th Infantry Regiment of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy , which was sent to the Galician front to fight the Imperial Russian Army . His military service did not last long when he was captured by the Russians on August 25, 1914 in Žolkyjevu . Later he was a merchant in Mladá Boleslav and married Lidie, née Abilovitz. The couple had a daughter, Věra. On June 12, 1942, he was murdered in Mauthausen concentration camp . According to his brother-in-law's report to Yad Vashem , Federer was murdered in Auschwitz .

The wife and daughter were murdered by the Nazi regime in Auschwitz.

Lidie Federerová b. Abilovitz, also Lea, Leka or Leha, was born in 1901 in Sapotskin , today in Belarus . Her parents were Khava and Mordekhai Abilovitz. She had a brother, Josef or Yosef. She was married to Emil Federer and was a housewife. The couple had a daughter, Vera or Dvora (born 1921). Both her husband and daughter were killed in the course of the Shoah : Emil Federer most likely in Mauthausen in 1942 , Věra Federerová in 1943 or later in Auschwitz . In 1944, Lidie Federerová was also murdered in Auschwitz.

Věra Federerová , also Dvora, was born on May 4, 1921. Her parents were Emil Federer, a businessman, and Lidie, Lea or Leha. Her last residence before the deportation was in Líny near Mladá Boleslav. On January 16, 1943, she was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp and four days later, on January 20, 1943, to the Auschwitz concentration camp . Their registration numbers were on Transport Cm 264 of 491 and on Transport Cq 158 of 2,000. She lost her life in Auschwitz.

Father and mother were also murdered by the Nazi regime.

Josef Hönigsfeld was born on February 18, 1903 in Slatiňany as the son of Alois Hönigsfeld and Arnoštka. Veselá (also Ernestine, March 13, 1880 - June 2, 1914) was born. He had two sisters, Anna (born July 6, 1909) and Emilie. He worked as a businessman and was married to Marie geb. Östereicherová. The couple had two sons, Zdenek (also Benjamin, born in 1934) and Pavel (also Barùch, born in 1937). While his family had to wait for their deportation, Josef Hönigsfeld was arrested in 1942 and deported to the Mauthausen concentration camp , where he was murdered by the Nazi regime.

His family was wiped out. The wife and two sons, then 6 and 9 years old respectively, were murdered in Auschwitz. His sister Anna, her husband Rudolf Freund and their daughters Ilona (born 1931) and Nora (born 1934) were all murdered in Auschwitz in 1944. The fate of his father and his second sister is unknown, but neither did they survive the Nazi regime in Bohemia.

Pavel Hönigsfeld , also called Barùch, was born on December 10, 1937 in Mladá Boleslav. His parents were Josef Hönigsfeld and Marie geb. Östereicherová. He had an older brother, Zdenek (born 1934). The father, a businessman, was arrested in 1942, deported to Mauthausen and murdered there. Pavel Hönigsfeld, his mother and his brother stayed in Mladá Boleslav. On January 16, 1943, they were arrested and deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp . His transport number was 274 out of 491. After eleven months, on December 15, 1943, the 6-year-old boy was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp in Transport Cm . His transport number was 893 out of 2,519. There the mother and her two sons were murdered in a gas chamber.

The couple had two sons, Zdenek (born 1934) and Pavel (born 1937). Her husband, a merchant, was arrested in 1942, deported to Mauthausen and murdered there. Marie Hönigsfeldová and her sons stayed in Mladá Boleslav. On January 16, 1943, they were arrested and deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp . Their transport number was 272 out of 491. After eleven months, on December 15, 1943, they were deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp on Transport Dr. Her transport number was 892 out of 2,519. Vilém Pick was born on July 1, 1881. He was married to Růžena Picková. The couple had at least one son, Arnošt (born February 13, 1911). His son went to Prague, studied, obtained his doctorate and married Marta geb. Radnitzerová (born February 16, 1915). Both son and daughter-in-law were deported to Ghetto Łódź on October 26, 1941 with Transport C. Their transport numbers were 435 and 436 out of 1,000. Both were murdered by the Nazi regime. The last residence of Vilém Pick and his wife before the deportation was in Debř. Růžena Picková was born on July 26, 1882. She was married to Vilém Pick. The couple had at least one son, Arnošt (born February 13, 1911). Josef Schreiber was born on August 27, 1888. He was married to Rudolfina, born on November 17, 1890. The couple had at least two children, Pavel (born February 6, 1920) and Zdenka (born May 9, 1922 in Mladá Boleslav). The family's last residence before the deportation was in Mladá Boleslav. Pavel was a student, Zdenka still went to school. On January 16, 1943, the whole family was arrested and deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp . Their transport numbers were 313 to 316 out of 491. Just four days later, on January 20, 1943, parents and children were deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp on Transport Cq . Their transport numbers were 448 to 1451 out of 2,000. There Josef Schreiber, his wife and children were murdered by the Nazi regime.

Adolfina Schreiberová, who was very likely his sister, was deported to Theresienstadt and Auschwitz on the same trains. She too was a victim of the Shoah .
