List of street fountains in the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf
The list of street wells in the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf is an overview of the currently existing wells in the districts of the district. This compilation is also part of the article Street fountain in Berlin .
The decorative and decorative fountains are stored in a further overview and are not recorded here.
overview
The list can be sorted according to districts, corridor distance of the groundwater (in 2009) and pump shape. Property numbers that cannot be identified are marked in brackets and in some cases with a preceding "#" in the address. The numbers on the pillars were assigned within the old districts before the district merger and can be repeated as digits. In the description, significant circumstances are compiled and supplemented with photographs and can also be viewed on Wikimedia Commons, broken down by district. In principle, there is a large distance to the groundwater from the corridor in the district, which is why the manual emergency wells must have a large drilling depth. It should be noted that the location of the emergency wells via addresses is difficult in some cases, as in the development of the district with new buildings, the street-oriented allocation existing in other Berlin districts was not in the foreground.
According to information from the district office in response to a written request from the House of Representatives, there are 110 emergency water pumps in the district, ten years ago there were 85. During the district reform in 2001, the Marzahn and Hellersdorf districts merged . The street wells were counted before this date in the independent old districts, which had almost the same population. As a result, there are several wells in the united district with the same identifier and the 110 plumps (determined for 2017) are distributed equally across these areas. According to printed matter 17/15418, nine state wells are named in the district.
In this report, 28 wells were designated as unsuitable for drinking water. The facts noted in the well list were established in 2018. Changes can occur with regular sampling for water quality or complex controls by well companies. If necessary, the timely condition at the respective location must be determined individually .
A current location determination results from the presentation of the results of the road inspection, which was commissioned by the Senate in 2014/2015 . The street furniture and pieces of equipment were then digitally evaluated and displayed on map material under the geoportal of the state survey office. The map material can be accessed via the link on the geoportal. The map details that are important for this article can be accessed using the search term “Straßenbefahrt 2014” and the relevant address. The locations of the road wells are marked with a blue square. Various map material can be selected as the background for the display. The overview of the locations of Berlin street fountains can be obtained via an OSM-supported map in a comparison of the WP-recorded and the plump recorded in 2014.
Notes on the list of identified emergency water supply road wells
According to the information provided by the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district office in November 2019, there are a total of 131 wells in the district, compared to 108 in 2009. Accordingly, 13 locations are not directly suitable for drinking water purposes because of chemical and 28 because of bacteriological contamination. For 2016, 110 functioning wells were named by the district office in response to a written request from 2017. The list (
as of 11/2019) contains 27 entries, primarily these are taken from the 2015 state list.Abbreviations from the LOR lists of the statistics office are used for the districts of the district.

The well numbers are initially partially provisional in the list, just like the stand types that have not yet been recorded are generally indicated as "model" in the shape column. When inspecting the well locations, please replace the actual well numbers and add the types of stands according to on-site findings. Comments on the type of runoff or such recordings during inspections sometimes provide information on the year the street well was erected. Basically, wells in the old (before 2001) district of Hellersdorf are marked as "HL" and in the (previous) district of Marzahn with a prefixed "MA".
A list of the street fountains set up in the district has not yet been obtained directly from the district office or its offices, in order to obtain a complete overview of the locations, the condition or the stand types.
The need for investment in street fountains, which was sent to the Senate in June 2020, resulted in the new or re-erection of the HL060 street fountain in Hellersdorf an der Dorfstr. 39 by “over-drilling” As a total inventory of 113 wells was listed in this communication from the district office to the Senate. Due to the population growth in the district (residents of Marzahn-Hellersdorf: 268,548), 21 no-bores are also necessary in order to achieve the required standard of 134 public emergency tapping points. This sum of more than half a million euros would have to come from the civil engineering fund, which primarily serves to maintain and maintain the roads.
The specification "NS = 52.5 | EW = 13.5 | simple = y | name = ???>" in the list indicates that the coordinates could not yet be precisely determined.

The parking lot continues this decorative area further east. The small pavement square of the fountain location is directly adjacent to the roadway. The house entrances are higher up from the road. The fountain body is an unadorned pipe to which the outlet is flanged. The handle has a spherical weighting body to improve the pumping power. The drainage area under the outlet is a perforated iron cover, as is commonly used for sluice covers. The fountain is ready for use and does not indicate any poor drinking water quality.

Borsig prism column |
20-30 m around 2010 |
The fountain (OSM-ID: 4379336894 ) is in the Heinz-Graffunder-Park south of Marchwitzastraße, across the flower borders and the street is the "Bürgerhaus Südspitze" (former day care center). The fountain location is between the borders two meters from the sidewalk, the water outlet is away from the park path. A square road grate is located within a paving as a water drain . The fountain is decorated with the district coat of arms , the top is the pyramid bag . The number of residents to be supplied at the location increased in 2017 due to the new Degewo buildings. In the summer of 2008 there was still a column at this point as a fountain body, which was replaced by the Borsig model in the 2010s. |
Helld | 006 | Kastanienallee 8 location Helle Mitte |
Borsig prism column |
Corridor clearance |
The fountain stands on the median of Kastanienallee at the corner of Cottbusser Straße 82. The Borsig column replaces a three-part column (FSH-L) that was still here in 2008 with a short extension for the outlet pipe. The rectangular drain on the concrete square next to the footpath in the median remained. The base pipe remained unchanged, only the above-ground fountain body was (probably) replaced. The Borsig pillar has a pointed six-sided pyramid as a connection and the district coat of arms is raised on a faceplate. The fountain is owned by the State of Berlin . |

Borsig prism column |
20-30 m end of the 1980 year |
The fountain (OSM-ID: 352734260 ) is on the green space in the north of Schragenfeldstraße between the “Schule an der Mühle” (70 meters to the east, Kienbergstraße 59) and the Russian Orthodox Church (70 meters to the west, Allee der Kosmonauten 184 –188) and south of the Bäckerpfuhl (30 meters). Fountain bodies with the district coat of arms and street inlet are located within a concrete slab on the lawn. The upper end of the well body consists of a blunt cone cap . The well is off-center on the base pipe , the reason is probably that the "Borsig housing" replaced an older well body on an existing deep borehole. Until the development was changed, the second grammar school in Marzahn (Schragenfeldstrasse 17/19) was located there instead of the residential houses to the west, of which the sports hall next to the baker's pond was preserved. Of the 3rd secondary school and 26th elementary school in Marzahn, east of the fountain site, the two sports halls (Kienbergstrasse 57) and the school building at the mill (Kienbergstrasse 59) remained. |

The body of the fountain is set up on a base pipe protruding about 20 cm from the surrounding soil. The area of the wedding park up to Ludwig-Renn-Straße was the school premises until 2005 (26th Ludwig Renn high school, 27th high school), of which the sports hall at Alfred-Döblin-Straße 17 survived the demolition. To the north-west of the fountain site, the type of school building of a former children's combination, which was converted into a senior citizens' home in 2005, is attached. The column of the fountain and the rectangular street drainage grate stand on an aged concrete slab. The stand foot of the lever pump is located on the base tube, which is larger in diameter, about 20 cm above the floor and plate level. |

Editing note
The well numbers of street wells that have not yet been visited or found are provisionally assigned, just as those stand types are then generally indicated as "models". When inspecting the well locations, please replace the actual well numbers and add the types of stands on site accordingly. Notes on the type of runoff provide information on the year the well was installed. A list of the street wells set up in the district has not yet been obtained from the district office in order to obtain a complete overview of the locations or the condition.
