List of student unions in Germany

The list of student unions in Germany includes the student unions in Germany as institutions under public law , with the number of students in the respective field of activity. The corresponding umbrella organization is the German Student Union .

The Saarland is an exception, as its student union operates as a registered association .

In the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia, student unions are called “student unions”.
