List of Lieutenant Governors of the US Virgin Islands

This list includes the lieutenant governors of the US suburbs of the US Virgin Islands . The office was created in 1969 by the Virgin Islands Elective Governors Act . At the same time the office of Government Secretary was abolished.

Juan Francisco Luis 1975-1988 Independent Citizens Movement After the death of Governor Cyril E. King on January 2, 1978, Juan Francisco Luis took over his office as governor according to the constitution of the US Virgin Islands.
