List of Lieutenant Governors of Arkansas

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tim Griffin, current Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas

The office of lieutenant governor of Arkansas was introduced with the new constitution of 1863, but abolished again with the next constitutional amendment in 1868. After that it was only reintroduced in 1914. In 1926 an election took place for the first time to occupy it.

The lieutenant governor is elected by the people in a separate election (not on a so-called ticket together with the governor).
