The Breg is the right source river of the Danube with a catchment area in the southeastern Black Forest and in the Baar . It rises at an altitude of about 1078  m above sea level. NHN near the Martinskapelle at Kolmenhof in Furtwangen in the Black Forest , is about 46.2 kilometers long and has a catchment area of ​​about 291.5 square kilometers. At Donaueschingen it unites with the Brigach , which it surpasses in all three values.

  5. The length of the Furtwänglebach is inconsistent on the water network layer (AWGN) , apparently because a wrong branch was set as the upper course. The layer divides the stream into two sections, up to the inlet from the Kalbendobel (the wrong upper course) and below it. The underflow length was therefore taken from the water body name layer , which contains a value suitable for the measurement. This results in a total length of the Furtwänglebach of about 3.0 km.
