Built as a small villa in 1836/37 on behalf of Matthias Constantin Capello von Wickenburg by the builder Withalm according to plans by Neuwerth. Two side wings with a tower were added in 1859. Burned out in April 1945, rebuilt by Count Alfred Brusselle in 1955. Today a tenement house in the spa gardens.

The building was built in 1856 as a new restoration building and renamed the spa hotel after a renovation in 1927 . It was later used as a conference center. In 2012 the property was partially demolished and is being converted into a residential and commercial property. The northern dining tract is still a listed building and has been spared demolition.

Foundation of the local founder Matthias Constantin Capello von Wickenburg . Construction of the church began in 1841 and a monastery was built two years later. On June 29, 1845, the church was opened in honor of St. Apostle Matthias and St. Solemnly inaugurated Emerentia . In 1888 the church and monastery were handed over to the Franciscans.

The observation tower on the Albrechtshöhe was built in 1840. In 1984 the timber construction and parts of the masonry were rebuilt by the Edelweiss comradeship. The second major renovation work followed in 2000, followed by the inauguration of this gem. The often mentioned "Parapluie" observation tower, which was erected around 1840 on the Albrechtshöhe (Wierberg) in Bad Gleichenberg, was certainly based on plans by Ludwig von Weldens .

The figure shrine St. Leonhard on a high, square stone base was made from Aflenz limestone and dates from the early 18th century. It stands a few meters west of the Meierhof on the former driveway to Gleichenberg Castle. In the same notification two more wayside shrines.

In the small complex of the Israelite cemetery opposite the communal cemetery, there is a grave monument in the form of a stele “ In memory of the Jewish dead and victims resting here between 1938 and 1945 ”. There are two gravestones from the 19th and 20th centuries in the cemetery. Century and two memorial stones from the late 1940s.
