List of profaned churches in the diocese of Münster

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When a Catholic church building is closed, a profanation service is celebrated, which serves as a place of worship to say goodbye to the building. With the profanation the church is blessed. This incomplete list of profaned churches in the diocese of Münster also shows that there were church profanations even before the restructuring process, albeit in smaller numbers. The list also shows the different options for conversion after a church has been closed .
