List of western television series shown in the GDR
The list of western series shown in the GDR contains TV series and TV series from foreign countries that were shown on GDR television . According to the information in the annual film-bibliographical reports, this list is designed as a total recording of the television series and TV series broadcast on television in the GDR.
If individual episodes in full-length films were shown as independent films, they are indeed listed here as a series, but it is noted and their entry in the film lists is still retained in order to preserve the reconstruction of the broadcasting practice. The GDR premiere are the years in which it was first broadcast. A complete mapping of the broadcast dates is not intended for the time being. TV films can be found in the film lists.
