List of women's networks in Germany
The list of women's networks in Germany contains nationally active women's associations , professional associations for women and other women's associations that have their headquarters in Germany. They have different structures, agencies and forms of organization. Some networks began as informal groups in the course of the second women's movement and were later institutionalized. Women's networks pursue women's and gender policy goals in political, cultural, professional or social areas. They serve professional networking as well as the development of appreciative social relationships , mutual support and to be publicly visible. Women's networks also exist within some large organizations such as the German Trade Union Confederation . These are not included in the list.
