Luc Ihorst (born March 7, 2000 in Damme ) is a German soccer player who is on loan from Werder Bremen to VfL Osnabrück .

Career

Ihorst has played for Werder Bremen since 2012. He made his first appearance with the U19 Juniors at the end of the 2016/17 season. In the following two seasons he played 39 games in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga , in which he scored 17 goals. In November and December 2017 he played three international matches in the German U18 team.

For the 2019/20 season he was promoted to the Werder regional league team. Because Niclas Füllkrug was injured in the final training session before the game against RB Leipzig on matchday five, Ihorst was appointed to the Bundesliga team at short notice. In the 80th minute he was substituted on in this game. On the 7th matchday, another nomination for the matchday squad followed, Ihorst was not part of the professional training group. In the further course of the season he was back on the squad of the second team. Ihorst completed 23 regional league appearances (all from the start) in which he scored 6 goals.

For the 2020/21 season, Ihorst switched to the 2nd Bundesliga for VfL Osnabrück on loan for two years .
