Bashkim Ajdini (born December 10, 1992 in Halmstad ), called Bashkim Renneke between 2004 and 2019 , is a German football player of Kosovar descent. The midfielder is under contract with VfL Osnabrück .

Private

Bashkim Ajdini's parents are Ramadan and Emine Ajdini. He has two younger brothers, Labinot and Driton. Ajdini's parents fled to Sweden because of the Kosovo war . Later his family moved to Germany and settled in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock . In August 2003 his family was deported to Serbia . A year later, Bashkim Ajdini was adopted by the German Renneke family , took the surname of his adoptive parents and grew up in Hövelriege .

In March 2019, Renneke took his maiden name Ajdini again. His family now also lives in Germany again. Ajdini is studying law .

Player career

Ajdini started his career at SJC Hövelriege . As a youth he made his debut in the first team that competed in the district league. In the summer of 2011 Ajdini moved to Arminia Bielefeld in the second team , which first played in the NRW League and from 2012 in the Oberliga Westfalen . With Arminia's second team, the midfielder became champion of the Oberliga Westfalen in 2014. He made his debut in the first team on April 25, 2014 in the away game against VfL Bochum , when he came on for Ben Sahar .

For the 2015/16 season Ajdini signed a one-year contract with SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the 3rd division.

The league competitor VfL Osnabrück signed the midfielder for the 2016/17 season , he moved to Osnabrück free of charge. With VfL, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2019 .
