Luigi Roncaglia
Luigi Roncaglia (born June 10, 1943 in Roverbella ) is a former Italian track cyclist and two-time world champion.
Luigi Roncaglia was as an amateur specialist for the Team Pursuit . Twice - in 1966 and 1968 - he was world champion in this discipline, twice - in 1965 and 1967 - vice world champion.
Roncaglia won two medals at the Olympic Games : the 1964 in Tokyo he won a silver medal in the team pursuit, and in 1968 the bronze medal.
In 1969 Roncaglia became a professional and started a. a. also in five six-day races ; In 1970 he won the Melbourne with Bob Ryan . As an amateur, he had already won the six-day race in Milan in 1966.
